    BEST PRACTICES OF TWO SPECIFIC PROJECTS UNDER PMJVK SCHEME OF MINISTRY OF MINORITY AFFAIRS FOR THE KVs LOCATED ON THE MINORITY CONCENTRATED AREAS

     

    Kendriya Vidyalaya MCF, Lalganj, Raebareli, feels proud to be chosen as a part of Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) Scheme of Minority Affairs for the KVs located in minority concentrated areas.  Under the scheme Personalized Learning to the students vidyalaya have been received  80 students devices (Chrome Tabs), 2 Integrated community computer cum projector and  Under 17 e-Learning Solution containing interactive Tablets, multimedia projector with Learning Management System(LMS) and native apps  to make the teaching-learning process more joyful and experience more enriching.  There are myriads of advantages when technology is amalgamated with human resource. The best practices adapted by our teachers can be summed up in the following lines.

    Vidyalaya practices and utilizes the following benefits of Personalized Learning scheme :

    1. It was a boon during COVID. Since physical classes were not possible the chrome tab enabled us to connect to our students on a virtual platform.
    2. It’s replete with numerous helpful tools like: google classroom, google form, google meet, etc. we can connect to the students, take classes, create docs, spreadsheets, quizzes slides, question papers and so on.
    3. The most striking feature is that it can work on the Hybrid Model( online/offline both).
    4. It’s designed on the personalized learning. Here we get everything we need. Everything is preinstalled and moreover, it’s as per CBSE guidelines. Here we can demonstrate experiments, construct geometrical figures with more precision, we get all the books from classes I to XII, worksheets, videos, audios etc.  It’s one such platform where teaching has become more interesting and way better than the traditional classroom teaching.

    1. Incorporating devices like I Pads in the classroom is a great technique in capturing the attention and bolstering the students’ participation.
    2. These I Pads have unlocked the creative potential of the students as well as teachers. When the students can see what they read, the activity becomes more fun.
    3. The best feature of an I Pad is that we can MIRROR our screen , create notes, make presentations, etc. It enables us to store as much data as we want. Everything is available at just one click.
    4. It’s user friendly, time and labour saving.
    5. It has increased the efficiency of the teachers and the retention power of the students.
    6. All notes, tasks or communication can be made and saved digitally, so it is difficult for them to get lost as can happen with hand written notes.
